What to Expect From Facelift Recovery
During the first few days of facelift recovery, you’ll notice considerable bruising, swelling, and pain. We highly recommend that patients take this time off from work, as these side effects – combined with general anesthesia after-effects – make it so that patients need to get as much rest as possible.
After the first week, you’ll start to feel yourself again. At this time, some patients are able to return back to work. Additionally, patients are usually able to wear makeup around Day 10, which can be extremely useful for covering any residual signs of bruising.
