Smiling, frowning, and raising your eyebrows help you express yourself. They also cause facial muscles to pull on the skin to make these expressions. Over time, lines and wrinkles form in these areas of frequent motion. Botox® quiets these facial muscles so your skin can relax, letting lines and wrinkles become smooth. View More Patient Results

What is Botox®?
Facial muscles cause wrinkles around the eyes (crow’s feet), horizontal lines across the forehead, and vertical lines between the eyebrows. Botox® targets muscles that cause these lines and wrinkles. Within days you can smooth out your furrowed forehead or rejuvenate the skin around the eyes.
How Does Botox® Work?
Botox® works using botulinum toxin to interfere with the communication between the nerves and facial muscles. The nerves stop telling the muscles to contract, allowing the wrinkles in the skin to relax away. Botox® has no lasting effects on the nerve or muscle, and both will return to normal when the Botox® wears off.
