Ultherapy® is a heat treatment that works by emitting ultrasonic waves. These waves permeate the epidermal layers of the skin, and the heat treatment triggers deep reactions within the skin. This helps your skin tissue contract, creating a tightened appearance which can help with skin sagging wrinkles and folds.
If your skin is not very good at stimulating collagen production, regular Ultherapy® treatments can increase the production of elastin and collagen resulting in amazing long-term benefits.
How Long Will My Ultherapy® Results Last?
Individual results may vary from person to person, but 90% of Ultherapy® patients reported tighter skin lasting as long as 12 months after their initial treatment.
Ultherapy® Results and Recovery
Ultherapy® stimulates collagen production, so it’s important to remember that it doesn’t radically transform you overnight. It can take time to formulate the production of smoother and healthier skin.
Results are visible from between two to three months after treatment and can take up to six months.
After the treatment, the recovery process consists of some swelling and redness which can last between two to seven days. To help the recovery process, it’s recommended that no strenuous activity is undertaken for 48 hours after treatment.
